Outside the wire....

Front of Pentagon

Cruiser

As Saturday descends upon us, the general consensus is that a long weekend is well earned. Many who live in the area chose to go home, but for those who traveled from afar it was time to get off base and seem some of the sights and get some grub. A small group mainly from section 4 along with our counselor, who is amazing by the way, went into the big city. One of our classmates works for the Pentagon Police generously gave us a private tour of the Pentagon. The size of this place is unbelievable, I took just under a million pictures, but will only post a few. Walking through these halls and seeing all the history was amazing. The amount of memorials was incredible, talking about them and showing a few photos simply won't tell the story. After a long tour we stopped in old town Alexandria, which was very cool and ate at Murphy's, an amazing Irish Pub in the district, I was even able to find my patch hanging up inside! Here are a few photos from the day, time now to put in a few hours studying.
